Join Peter for 3 days of painting the stunning fishing village of Roundstone, know as the most picturesque village in Ireland.
About this course:
During what promises to be a glorious few days of painting, Peter will take you and the group to some of the most paintable spots in and around the gorgeous village of Roundstone, on the west coast of Ireland, in the Connemara region of County Galway.
Working plein-air (from life), Peter will both demonstrate and guide you through some of the best methods of painting and sketching the scenic landscape around us, in both oils, acrylics and/or gouache (depending on the class interest). Taking in scenes including the rugged Irish coast, fishing boats on the harbour and distant Irish mountains, we will also have the Roundstone Village Hall at our disposal to meet up, share our work and utilise in case of inclement weather.

Peter says "I can't wait to visit and paint one of the most scenic places in Ireland in what will be my first trip to the Emerald Isle. For those of you who have been in my workshops before, you will know how much I love to share exactly how I create exciting and engaging paintings using glorious surroundings as inspiration. And once all the painting is done, I look forward to heading to the nearest café (or pub!) to chat all things art and more! I hope to see you there."
