About this course

Taking inspiration from the vibrant and bold still-life paintings of Vincent Van Gogh, Monet and other artists working today, join Peter for these 2 lessons where you will paint 2 different still-life paintings of flowers, each in dazzling bright sunlight. 

During the 2 lessons, you will cover the following:

• How to start and map out the painting

• Creating strong shapes and bold colours

• Capturing the feeling of light

• Keeping your painting loose and fuss-free

Peter uses oil paints throughout this course, although it would also be of use to those artists who prefer working in acrylics as Peter does talk about how he would use acrylics in some of the lessons.
