Garden Painting Workshops: 17, 18 & 19 June 2026
Dates available:
Wednesday 17th June
Thursday 18th June
Friday 19th June
Participants are welcome to join for 1 day, 2 days, or the full 3 days.
Following the sell-out success of the last 4 summer’s painting days, come and paint with Peter Keegan for what will be his 5th year painting at the beautiful private gardens of Kingsbridge Farm, Steeple Claydon, Buckinghamshire, by kind permission of Mrs Serena Aldous.
We’re delighted that each year, we donate at least 25% from the sale of each ticket, to the Institute for Cancer Vaccines and Immunotherapy.
What to expect
Join Peter for a plein air painting workshop based at a beautiful private garden near his studio in North Buckinghamshire. Each daily workshop will include detailed demonstrations and lots of opportunities for one-to-one guidance as you paint.
Although suitable for all abilities, some previous painting experience would be beneficial to get the most out of the day.
The Venue
A stunning, 6-acre, National Garden Scheme private garden, with colour themed herbaceous borders, clipped yews, mature trees, shrub woodland and a beautiful farmhouse with a variety of cottage flowers, surrounded by countryside views.
Although this is primarily a plein air (outside) painting workshop, in case of bad weather or for those who would prefer to, we have the option of painting in the large, welcoming barn and other enclosed areas across the gardens.
Itinerary
Arrivals from 9:30am for a 10am start and brief tour of the gardens, followed by a morning painting demonstration
Lunch: 1-2pm followed by an afternoon painting demonstration
Finish: 4pm
Materials
Artists are asked to bring all their own painting materials. Peter will be working in oil paints or gouache although artists working in all mediums are warmly welcomed.
