Amazing Faces - Zoom Class

A 4-week online painting course painting the portraits of 4 different, varied and beautiful faces.

You can still join this class even though it has already started. When you purchase the class, you will automatically be able to watch back any of the lessons you may have missed. 

Portraiture remains Peter’s first love and during this 4 week course, he will show you how he approaches painting 4 different head and shoulders portraits, in his own style.

These virtual, paint-a-long lessons will run live via Zoom on Monday mornings in November 2025. You will have the ability to re-watch the Zoom recordings anytime, via this website page, as many times as you like, ideal for those on a different time-zone to the UK, those who are unable to watch the lessons live due to other commitments or for those who sign-up to the class half-way through.

During the 4 lessons, you will cover the following:

• How to achieve accurate proportions, tones and colours

• Where to start and how to build your portrait

• Achieving richness of colour in your portraits

• How to capture a likeness

• Utilising a range of painterly effects 

What is included:

• 4 x 3 hour Zoom sessions

• Watch the sessions live and have life-time access to re-watch the lessons as many times as you need (ideal for those who cannot make the lessons live).

• The ability to interact and ask Peter questions during the live Zoom lessons. 

• Teaching notes supplied for each class posted to the lesson page once the class has taken place. 

• Excellent, new reference images to work from (or you can use your own images).

By the end of this course, you will have created at least 4 different paintings.

Each of the lesson pages (below) will include everything you need to take part in each live the lesson including the Zoom link, the reference image Peter will be working from, materials list and, once the lesson has taken place, the link for you to re-watch the class as many times as you need as well as the detailed accompanying class notes.
